snob (nc)
1) a person whose culture is superior to yours; 'No one likes a snob.'
2) a person who appreciates and recognises quality when they see it; 'Only a snob would think that Shakespeare is better than Glee.'
3) a person whose mental horizon is larger than a 9 year old's; 'I'm a snob because I use words longer than three syllables on a regular basis.'
4) a word used by cultural illiterates to express resentment at someone else's superior culture; 'What do you mean The Da Vinci Code is pap? You're such a snob.'
